Staffed by a team of specialty trained, board certified medical experts the Wound Healing Center is a newly designed state-of-the-art center at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. The Center treats a variety of diagnoses, including:

• Osteoradionecrosis
• Acute peripheral arterial insufficiency
• Chronic refractory osteomyelitis
• Non-healing wounds
• Pressure and Venuous stasis ulcers
• Diabetic ulcers of the lower extremeties
• Progressive necrotizing infection
• Compromised flaps/grafts
• Post-radiation tissue damage

Using the latest in medical technology, the Center features two Hyperbaric Oxygen Chambers and the use of synthetic skin substitutes to treat patients on the road to recovery from serious injury.
